Would you like to get an online law degree? It is not very simple, but it is possible. Getting such kind of degree poses some unique challenges. Follow the provided steps and get your desirable degree.
1. Complete pre-legal education. Many law students have completed a bachelor’s degree.
2. Complete legal education. The Committee does not certify online law schools; in its place, they offer distance learning law schools to register with them in case the online schools meet the requirements. Because the Committee will not answer for the program’s quality, it is necessary to thoroughly finance a particular online law school before entering.
3. Enroll as a law student. Prior to taking any examinations, law students should register online.
4. Pass the first law student’s examination. Students should pass a four-hour test that covers basic contracts, torts, and criminal law. The examinationis administered in October and June of each year.
5. Get a good moral character determination. The lawyers must prove they have “positive moral character” by passing through an assessment from the Committee. Also, you will be required to give information, references, and fingerprints.
6. Go in for the multistate professional responsibility examination. It will exam your comprehension of appropriate lawyer conduct.
7. Sit the exam. At last, after fulfilling the online law degree and completing the other requirements, you can take another exam. It is provided in July and February of each year and it features three days of multi-state components, essay questions, and practical exercises. In case you pass it, you will be eligible to practice law.
